2 Car MVA at SH 68, SH 310 and USH 11 Intersection

At 9:22 p.m., Canton Fire, Rescue, and County Car 4 were dispatched to the intersection of State Highway 68, State Highway 310, and U.S. Route 11 for a two-car motor vehicle accident involving airbag deployment and reported injuries.
Rescue 1, chauffeured by Past Chief Crowe, responded at 9:28 p.m. under the direction of Chief Holcomb. Engine 6, operated by D. Johnson and under the command of Captain Gavin, followed shortly after. Upon arrival, crews shut down State Highway 68 and managed traffic while assisting Canton Rescue with evaluating those involved in the accident.
This is the second motor vehicle accident at this intersection in the past week. Canton Fire urges all residents and travelers to use caution at this location and to obey all traffic signals.
There were no reported injuries among firefighters, and all units returned to service at 10:24 p.m.
