At 2057 hours on 15 January, 2016, Canton Fire was dispatched as mutual aid to Pierrepont for a structure fire at 1222 Green Road.
TA-20, R-1 and Car 21 all responded to the scene. TA-20 arrived on scene and was immediately put to work and R-1 was requested directly to the scene for lighting and manpower. The crew of R-1 was directed to assist with exterior operations and overhaul. After nearly four hours of operations, the fire was placed under control and Canton Fire was released from scene. At approximately 0038 hours the next day Canton Fire was back in service and in quarters. The structure was a total loss. Thankfully there were no injuries of any personnel or civilians.
