One Car Rollover With Possible Ejection

Pyrities Fire and Canton Rescue were toned out at 2051 hrs. for a reported motor vehicle accident with possible ejection in front of 2881 County Route 21 toward Pyrities. Additional information indicated that vehicle had struck a tree. Ambulance 133 was out of service at 2054 hrs with Rescue 1 following at 20:56. Pyrties Engine 92 and Rescue 91 along with Canton assistant Chief Erik Johnson and a NYSP unit were the first to arrive on scene and found one patient who was ambulatory outside the vehicle. The car had struck several large trees and toppled a 30 foot pine tree before coming to a stop. The vehicle suffered considerable damage and was towed from the scene. All fire units were back in service 2120 hours and there were no firefighter injuries reported.
