Members Spend Saturday Morning at Controlled Burns

Members spent most of the morning attending to two controlled burns. Starting at 7:00 AM. a large pile of packing crates met their fiery doom behing the Woodchop Shop. After that fire burned down to where the landowner could manage it, the members proceeded to a residence on the Old State Road. There, with the assistance of the DeKalb Junction Fire Department, a dilapidated barn saw its final hours, removing an eyesore from the property.
A special thank you to Valerie Wilson who provided photos of the second burn.
