By 1st Assistant Fire Chief Robert Crowe
June 2, 2007

The Canton Fire Department participated in the 2007 Dairy Princess Festival and Parade again this year. Engine 9, along with Fire Prevention Officer Dan Aldous' "Fire Buggy" were big hits. This year the St. Lawrence County Fire Chief's Fire Prevention Trailer was set up in the park and operated by members of the Canton and Russell Fire Departments. Several hundred youth went through the trailer and received instruction in fire prevention and safety.
