Incident Response to Terrorist Bombings Course

March 7, 2007

This course is designed to provide awareness level prevention and response training related to bomb threats and bombing incidents. Topics will include an overview of terrorism and its history in the US, explosive materials and devices recognition, and incident response to pre and post blast incidents. This course is presented in cooperation with New Mexico Tech and the US Department of Homeland Security's Office for Domestic Preparedness. The instructor is Christian J. Ehrhardt, CFI.

Course times and locations are as follows:
Morristown Fire Department: March 13, 2007, 1900hrs
Gouverneur Fire Department: March 27, 2007, 1830hrs
Massena Fire Department: April 10, 2007, 1900hrs
Cranberry Lake Fire Department: April 17, 2007, 1900hrs

You must pre-register for this class with the St. Lawrence County Office of Emergency Services by calling Tammy at 379-2240 or e-mailing her at tlabrake@co.st-lawrence.ny.gov
