CFD Spends Evening At GEB Fire Training Center

The Canton Fire Department ventured to the George E. Briggs Fire Training Center in West Potsdam for drill night this month. Members received a short classroom presentation on forcible entry and then proceeded out side for a night of hands on work. Three stations were set up using the smoke house, the roof simulator and the new forcible entry simulator. Members had the opportunity to rotate through all three stations. This was the first department use of the forcible entry simulator that had been purchased by the county for the training center.
