| On April 23rd, several members from Canton Fire Department visited Canton High School to display equipment and answer questions about department membership. This event provided a valuable opportunity to connect with students and highlight the importance of younger individuals joining the fire service.
The "Tool Challenge" (boys held the Halligan, and girls held the Axe) was a popular feature of the visit, with the winner of each earning a ride in a fire truck.
The Canton Fire Department thanks the staff at Canton High School for allowing us the opportunity, as well as the students who took time during their lunch period to participate and learn more about volunteering with the Canton Fire Department. |
