Canton Fire, Canton Rescue, and County Car 4 were toned out at 2226 to a reported garage fire at 67Jingleville Road.
Chief Cary (4-1) and Chief Johnson (4-2) were enroute to the scene just after tones were dropped, while Engine 7 was enroute at 2230, followed by Tanker 20, and Rescue 1. While enroute, Chief Cary requested the Tanker Task Force (a rural supply of water brought to the scene by tankers) to respond for that zone, consisting of a tanker from Pyrites Fire, DeKalb Fire, and Hermon Fire. The Tanker Task Force also automatically dispatches an engine and manpower from Potsdam Fire to standby at Canton Fire Station.

Engine 7 crew arrived on scene, stretched an 1 3/4" line, and was able to quickly knock down the fire. With the quick knock down, the Tanker Task Force request was canceled. Crews performed overhaul operations to make sure the fire was completely extinguished. There were no firefighter or civilian injuries. All Canton units were back in service at 2338.
