At 1356 hours, Canton Fire was dispatched automatic mutual aid for Pyrites Fire, along with Canton Rescue, and County Car 4 for a possible vehicle fire. Engine 7 (Past Chief Crowe) checked enroute at 1404 hours followed by Rescue 1 (D. Johnson) and Tanker 20 (Grandaw) moments later.

Engine 7 arrived on-scene at 1414 hours to find a pickup truck fully involved. Members from Pyrites and Canton Fire Departments used an 1 3/4" hand line to knockdown the fire that already caused extreme damage.

A total of 7 Canton Fire members responded and there were no firefighter or civilian injures. All Canton Units were back in service at 1513 hours.
