Canton Fire returned at 1558 to 514 County Route 25 to assist Russell Fire with a rekindle at the scene of the earlier house fire. The remnants of the house had reignited and was called in by a passerby. The department was requested for Tanker 20 to assist with water supply. Upon arrival, however, dump valve was frozen closed and no water was able to be dumped. Personnel stayed on scene to assist in additional overhaul operations while the tanker was sent back to quarters to thaw out. Members were back in service at 1514.
