At 1652 hours, Canton Fire, Rescue, and County Car 4 were dispatched to the area of State Highway 310 and Morley-Potsdam Road for a collision involving a car and a tractor trailer. Initial reports indicated that one person might be trapped. Shortly thereafter, members were updated that the vehicle was possibly on fire.

At 1701 hours, Chief McGregor (4-1) arrived on scene, advised that there3 was no fire, and established command. Rescue 1 arrived shortly afterward. The driver had self extricated with minor injuries that were treated on scene by Canton Rescue.

A total of 18 Canton Fire members responded to the incident. All units were back in service at 1822 hours.
