Shortly before noon Friday, Canton Fire, Rescue and County Car 4 were dispatched to 1858 SH 68 for a 2 car, head on collision with unknown entrapment and a tourniquet being applied to a patient. Rescue 1 and Engine 8 checked Enroute at 1202 hours. Safety Officer Stripp (4-6) arrived on-scene and advised there was two patients, one with a severe arm laceration. Chief E. Johnson (4-3) arrived on-scene, assumed command, and advised all incoming units that there was no entrapment. Chief McGregor (4-1) and Chief Holcomb (4-4) arrived moments later. Rescue 1 and Engine 8 checked onscene at 1209 hours. Rescue 36 responded to the intersection of SH 68 and CR 35 to shut down the road. Fifteen Canton Fire members responded and all Canton units were back in service at 1300 hours.
