At 1000, St. Lawrence County Central Dispatch activated the tones for Canton Fire, Canton Rescue, and County Car 4 for a reported one car MVA in the vicinity of 1130 Old DeKalb Road. The caller reported one victim, trapped in the vehicle. Ambulance 131 and Chief Robert Crowe were enroute at 1002 with Rescue 1 following. Arriving on scene, A-131 advised the the subject was out of the vehicle and the vehicle had struck a tree. Canton Fire personnel provided traffic control while the patient was being evaluated and the vehicle removed from the scene. Fifteen members responded and all fire units were back in service at 1050.
