At approximately 0540 Canton Fire & Rescue along with Morley Fire were alerted to a one-car motor vehicle accident on Route 68 near Conger and Tully Road. Central Dispatch advised the victim's car was in the water and was sinking with the occupant still inside. Rescue 1 and A-132 were en route minutes later. While traveling to the scene, Central Dispatch advised the victim had self-extricated. Rescue 1 arrived on scene and provided lighting and traffic control with Morley Fire. Traffic was reduced to one lane while the car was removed from the water. All units were back in service at 0700 with a total of nine members responding.
