One Vehicle Rollover At Main and Riverside

Canton Fire and Canton Rescue were dispatched at 2240 hours to a one vehicle rollover at the intersection of Main Street and Riverside Drive. Assistant Chief Cary responded on the alarm and Canton Rescue A-132 was on scene almost immediately, as they were returning from a previous 911 call. Chief Cary and a fully staffed Rescue 1, chauffeured by FF Maneely, arrived on scene simultaneously to find a pickup truck on its side. The driver and lone occupant had self-extricated and was being evaluated by rescue personnel. Johnson Towing responded to the scene to right the vehicle and remove it from the scene. CFD personnel provided traffic control and assisted with scene lighting. All units returned to service 2335.
