The members of Canton Fire and Rescue met April 1st to hold the department's Annual Meeting and Election of Officers. The department has been meeting on the first Friday in April to elect its officers since its inception in 1869. Following reports from the Secretary and the Treasurers elections were held. The result were as follows:

Chief Engineer - Robert Crowe
1st Assistant Chief - Brian McCluskey
2nd Assistant Chief - Daniel Aldous
3rd Assistant Chief - Russell Lawrence IV
Secretary - Donald Thompson
Treasurer - Michael Morgan
Assistant Treasurer - Michael Dalton
Member at Large, Fire - Matthew Kroeger
Member at Large, EMS - Jace Mullen
