On 20 January, 2016, St. Lawrence County had a very busy day. Two structure fires, both within an hour of each other, had popped up within a 30 mile radius. One fire off USH 11 in the Town of Dekalb and one in on CR 28 in the Town of Lisbon. Canton Fire was requested to the fire in Dekalb to fill tankers at the hydrant at Dekalb Fire Station. Engine 8 along with 4-1 handled that assignment and TA-20 responded to the scene to assist in water supply at 1320 hours. All Canton units were back in service at 1808 hours.
