Members of Canton Fire and Rescue responded to the request for assistance in searching for the two missing Amish girls in Heuvelton. Three two person crews, each with a thermal imaging camera, joined over 120 other firefighters from around the county in the mobilization to conduct a night search along the roadsides using thermal imaging cameras. Additionally, a BLS crew of 4 staffed A-132 at the Heuvelton Fire Station to stand-by if needed. Shortly after being sent to the assigned roads to search, all crews were called back to Heuvelton Station to de-mobilize as the missing girls had been returned to their home.
