St. Lawrence County, in conjunction with the Development Authority of the North Country and the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation, will be hosting a free household hazardous waste collection day on Saturday May 31st at the Human Services building, located at 80 State Highway 310 in Canton. The event will take place from 9 AM - 1 pm. Residents are urged to take advantage of this opportunity to rid their homes of unwanted hazardous chemicals and substances.
